palos Religious Clients
A Note from our friends at NOVA West Island
(Formerly Victorian Order of Nurses)
“We at NOVA West Island are very grateful for the time, energy and support that Palos Wealth Management has shown our community over the past three years. Their fundraising, volunteer work and sponsorship has helped in providing services to those in need in our community.”
Managing the invested assets of a religious organization is no simple undertaking. ESG, SRI, Impact,
ethical and faith-based investments are complex matters which have a delicate impact on the missional
objectives of a faith-focused organization such as yours. It has been our privilege at Palos (formerly,
Castellum) to have served over 25 religious organizations as their investment manager, since 1996.
At Palos Wealth Management, we provide an additional layer of efficiency and innovation to our
religious clients, by screening and pre-selecting investments which we believe are aligned with your
organizational values. Palos Wealth Management offers an array of services such as investment, wealth
management, and advisory services designed to help you and your board undertake your task of faithful
stewardship, with confidence and ease.
We recognize that many religious organizations are reconsidering their investment policies and wealth
managers at this time. As such, we are writing to let you know that it would be an honour to extend our
expertise and services to you and respond to any requests for proposals or any other openings you may
have.
Tailored Portfolios for Religious Clients
Palos’ religious clients have many unique investment objectives including annual revenues,
compatibility with property investments and both short- and long-term liquidity planning – all
combined with a refreshed desire to attend to ethical- and impact-related concerns. Our
knowledgeable portfolio managers ensure that your values and investment objectives are fully
understood and that your financial concerns are addressed. By combining our expertise with
institutional, foundation and family office investors along with our experience in working with our
religious clients, Palos ensures an understanding, efficiency and care in working with the sensitive
needs of faith-based organizations.
Investment Policy Advisory Services for Religious Clients
Palos understands the changing nature of investing in a religious context. Since 2018, Castellum Capital has been an integral part of Palos’ success as a whole and has elevated the SRI/ESG experience of clients and management alike. Palos/Castellum work in tandem to provide clients with a wealth of knowledge in professional management.
As the ESG/SRI gains momentum, Palos/Castellum Group has increased its ESG/SRI wherewithal and made it an integral part of our due diligence when creating tailor-made portfolios. As discretionary portfolio managers, our mandates always adhere to the principles of fiduciary duty, which is the obligation to always act with care, honesty and in the best interests of our client.
